As a criminal defense attorney, he has helped many clients navigate the criminal justice system, often obtaining favorable outcomes that avoid a permanent criminal history.
Mr. Ainsworth is a native Houstonian. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas School of Law. He was licensed to practice law in 2012. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas. He is a member numerous professional organizations, including the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association, the National Employment Law Association Houston Chapter, the Stonewall Lawyer's Association of Greater Houston, and the Family Law section of the State Bar of Texas. Chris Ainsworth is an Eagle Scout.
When he is not practicing law, he enjoys barbecuing and working on home-improvement projects with his fiancé, Gareth, and their dog. He belongs to Congregation Beth Israel, where he is a member of the Brotherhood. He also volunteers as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Scouts BSA Troop 806.
