  • EMPLOYMENT LAW - Grant of mandamus overturning order granting disqualification In re Trimmer-Davis, No. 01-15-00495-CV, 2015 WL 6081459 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.] Oct. 13, 2015, orig. proceeding).

  • FAMILY LAW - Successful order dividing pension benefits in favor of client in S.H. v. W.J.H.; Cause No. 2011-39444; In the 311th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas.  (reducing pension benefits awarded to ex-wife to only $10,000).

  • EMPLOYMENT LAW - Successful verdict in favor of client in Zamora v. City of Houston; Cause No. H-07-4510; In the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas: Houston Division.  (recovering over $600,000 for client and attorneys).

  • EMPLOYMENT LAW – Verdict upheld on appeal in Zamora v. City of Houston, 798 F.3d 326 (5th Cir. 2015) (landmark case extending “cat’s paw” theory of causation to the Fifth Circuit).

  • EMPLOYMENT LAW –  Petition for Writ of Certiorari denied in Zamora v. City of Houston, Cause No. 15-868 (defeating brief and argument by City of Houston and Paul D. Clement of Bancroft, PLLC).

  • FAMILY LAW – Order signed granting modification of final order overturned on appeal in In the Matter of the Marriage of L.B and S.P., Cause No. 14-16-00551-CV  (Tex. App. – Houston [14th Dist.]) (overturned trial court order granting modification of final order, original order reinstated).

  • CIVIL RIGHTS - Denial of petition for writ of mandamus requesting reconsideration of order denying pre-suit deposition of client in In re City of Galena Park, Cause No. 01-17-00683-CV (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.])   (won denial of pre-suit deposition of client and defeated petition for writ of mandamus requesting the denial be overturned on appeal).

  • FAMILY LAW – Judgment terminating parental rights and granting half-sister sole managing conservatorship in In the interest of M.A.F. and M.P.F., Children.

  • FAMILY LAW – Judgment granting grandmother and maternal aunts possessory conservatorship in In the Interest of HLB and LNB, Children.

  • FAMILY LAW – Judgment granting grandparents joint managing conservatorship with the exclusive right to designate the primary residence of the child in In the Matter of the Marriage of JM and JM and in the interest of JM, a Child.

  • FAMILY LAW – Judgment denying opposing party visitation with children in In the Matter of the Marriage of JHL and JAL and in the Interest of GEL, a Child.

  • March 22, 2018 - Ex-City commissioner sues Galena Park city officials on freedom of speech grounds  (represents ex-City commissioner as of 5/2018)

  • August 14, 2017 - Memorial Villages Police Department Accused of Racist Language by Former Dispatcher  (represents former dispatcher as of 5/2018)

  • March 21, 2016 - Galena Park administrator claims race behind termination attempt (represents Galena Park administrator as of 5/2018)
